Rustom Day 2 (Saturday) Box Office Collections

Rustom has shown good growth in business on its second day at the box office. The film has collected around 16.5 crore on Day 2, as per early estimates, which should help the Akshay Kumar starer cross the 30 corer mark in two days.
The growth on Saturday sets the film up for a big Sunday. This week’s Sunday will be bigger than other Sunday’s because Monday is a national holiday for Independence Day. So the drop at multiplexes on Sunday due to Monday being a working day, will not be there this week, giving the film a big chance of notching up more than 20 crore at the domestic box office.
In addition to that, Rustom has now extended the lead over Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro by a margin of around 12 crore. This means Rustom is certain to be the bigger grosser and has comprehensively won the box office clash. More so since, Mohenjo Daro was a much more expensive film.
Rustom should collect close to 50 crore by the end of its first weekend. The extended weekend business could touch or cross the 65 crore mark. The film should recover all of its investment by the end of its first week.
